Established Musicians Wanted
Chelmsford's new live music hub is open for bookings
We're building something special at 100%Klub — a thriving live music venue in the heart of Essex. We want established performers with a following to help us launch our scene and prove that live music in Chelmsford is very much alive.
Why We're Doing This
Live music venues are closing at an alarming rate across the UK. The financial climate is brutal, and the stages that gave artists their start are disappearing one by one. We refuse to accept that.
100%Klub is here to buck the trend. We're creating a dedicated live music hub in Chelmsford — the centre of Essex — where artists can perform, audiences can discover new talent, and the local music scene can genuinely thrive.
To hit the ground running, we need established musicians who already have a following. Bring your crowd, blow them away, and help us spread the word that 100%Klub is a live music venue well worth going to.
The Centre of Essex Needs a Live Music Hub
Chelmsford is the county town of Essex with a passionate music-loving community. 100%Klub is here to give that community a home — and we need the right artists to help us build it.
Who We're Looking For
We're open to all genres and formats. If you have talent, a following, and the drive to perform, we want to hear from you.
Solo Singers
Experienced vocalists with original material or a strong cover repertoire and an established fanbase.
Singer-Songwriters
Original artists who write and perform their own music and are ready to connect with new audiences.
Tribute Acts
High-quality tributes to iconic artists who can pack a room and deliver a memorable night.
Live Bands
Cover bands, original bands, and everything in between — if you can bring a crowd, we want you on our stage.
Sounds We're Seeking
We have a clear vision for the kind of music that will thrive at 100%Klub. Here's what we're actively booking:
Funk / Soul Party Bands
Get the dancefloor moving with infectious grooves and powerhouse vocals.
80s Synth / New Wave
Bring the electronic energy and iconic sounds of a decade that defined a generation.
Live Dance Bands
High-energy acts that blur the line between live performance and club night.
Disco & House Crossover
Classic disco spirit meets modern house — the perfect soundtrack for the Star Garden.
Ska / Reggae
Upbeat, skanking rhythms and feel-good vibes that get every corner of the room involved.
Modern Pop Covers
Current chart hits and crowd-pleasing anthems delivered with a live band's energy.
Apologies to rock bands — Chelmsford already has a wealth of venues serving this genre brilliantly. To avoid over-saturation, we're focusing our bookings elsewhere.
Moulsham Street's Live Music Legacy
Introducing the Star Garden
100%Klub has not forgotten the rich live music culture of Moulsham Street. Most notably, the venue that 100%Klub now resides in — The Star & Garter. Not forgetting The Bay Horse public house that was a hotbed for offering live groups and singers.
100%Klub introduces the Star Garden — a festival-inspired outside space that is covered and heated for performers' and audiences' comfort. The music is coming back to Moulsham Street.
Welcome to the Star Garden: standing audiences, the Star Stage as the main focal point, and a raw festival energy that Chelmsford hasn't seen in years. We are bringing back the Star identity and giving you the Star Garden Live.
The Venue
100%Klub is a 200-capacity venue in Chelmsford with a 2AM licence, professional JBL sound system, Denon DJ decks, and the Star Garden — a covered heated outdoor stage with a duplicate audio setup. You bring the performance — we handle the rest.
